Eurowings
Eurowings' allowances depend on the fare: Basic, Smart or BIZclass.

Frequently asked
Which has the bigger fleet, Eurowings or Wizz Air?
The two figures count different things (one covers a whole airline group), so they are not a like-for-like comparison. Eurowings 90 aircraft (Wikipedia, as of 1 May 2026); Wizz Air 276 aircraft, a group figure (Airline report, as of 2 October 2026).
Is Eurowings cheaper than Wizz Air?
Fares change by route, date and demand, so neither airline is always cheaper. This page compares fleets and published facts, not fares. To check prices for a trip, search both airlines for the same dates.
Which airline is older?
Eurowings was founded in 1994, Wizz Air in 2004.
Do Eurowings and Wizz Air share a hub airport?
Not in our data. Eurowings lists DUS, CGN, HAM, STR, BER and PMI; Wizz Air lists BUD, OTP, LTN, FCO, WAW and KTW.
Are both airlines currently flying?
Yes. Both are active in our directory.
