Baggage & fees compared

easyJet

easyJet's help pages set out these allowances. Sizes include handles and wheels.

  • Small under-seat cabin bag (all customers): one bag of up to 45 x 36 x 20 cm and up to 15 kg, which must fit under the seat in front. A small trolley case, handbag, rucksack or laptop bag can qualify if it fits.
  • Large cabin bag (paid add-on, or included with easyJet Plus and Inclusive Plus): up to 56 x 45 x 25 cm and up to 15 kg, stored in an overhead locker; booking one includes Speedy Boarding. Without a booked large-bag slot, Plus and Inclusive Plus customers' large bags travel subject to space and go in the hold if lockers are full.
  • Maximum of two cabin bags per person: one small bag, plus one large bag where included or bought.
  • Hold luggage: 15 kg or 23 kg bags can be booked, with extra weight added online in 3 kg steps. No single bag may weigh more than 32 kg, and a booked weight allowance can be shared across the bags on the booking as long as that limit is respected. Each bag must measure under 275 cm in total (length + width + height).

Eurowings

Eurowings' allowances depend on the fare: Basic, Smart or BIZclass.

  • Small underseat bag (all fares): maximum 40 x 30 x 25 cm, for example a laptop bag, handbag or small backpack. Infants under 2 on a lap get a second small bag.
  • Large cabin bag: maximum 55 x 40 x 23 cm and up to 8 kg. Not included in Basic but can be added; included in BIZclass. On full flights, compliant cabin bags may be checked into the hold free of charge.
  • Checked bags: Basic includes none; Smart includes one bag of up to 23 kg; BIZclass includes two bags of up to 32 kg each. Extra bags of up to 12 kg, 23 kg or 32 kg can be added online or through the call centre.
  • Limits: no more than five checked bags per passenger, each up to 32 kg. Infants (0–24 months) get a checked bag, and up to two items such as prams, buggies and child seats per child up to age 11 travel free in the hold.

Baggage can be added online up to two hours before departure. Source: Eurowings, "Hand baggage" and "Checked baggage" pages, read on 24 October 2026.
