Spring Airlines
Spring Airlines' baggage page applies to 9C flights only and sets allowances by fare type. Sizes and weights as published:
- Cabin bag, two lower fare types (超惠飞 and 优选飞): one bag up to 7 kg and 20 x 30 x 40 cm, measured without wheels, handles or trolley bars.
- Cabin bag, top fare type (尊享飞): one bag up to 10 kg and 20 x 40 x 55 cm, measured the same way.
- An upgraded cabin bag can be bought, raising the allowance to 10 kg and 20 x 40 x 55 cm; still one piece.
- Checked bag: none included on the lowest fare type, or on 优选飞 fares sold without baggage. 优选飞 fares with baggage include 20 kg, maximum 40 x 60 x 100 cm including wheels. The top fare type includes 20 kg.
- Extra checked allowance can be bought in advance in 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 or 40 kg steps.
- Single checked piece: maximum 50 kg on domestic routes, 32 kg on Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and international routes.
- Infants: no free baggage allowance.

VietJet Air
VietJet's baggage service page (rules effective from 10 October 2023) sets the following limits. Exact allowances depend on the fare class and route booked.
- Carry-on: one main item of up to 56 x 36 x 23 cm and/or one small personal item, with a combined weight of no more than 7 kg. Infants under two have no allowance.
- Small personal item: one of a handbag or similar (up to 30 x 20 x 10 cm), a garment bag (up to 114 x 60 x 11 cm when opened) or a laptop bag (up to 40 x 30 x 10 cm).
- Carry-on bags must carry a VietJet carry-on label attached at check-in, and size and weight may be rechecked at the gate.
- Standard checked baggage: up to 32 kg per piece and 119 x 119 x 81 cm.
- Oversized checked baggage (VJ-operated flights): up to 32 kg per piece and 200 x 119 x 81 cm, bought as a separate package.
- Strollers, wheelchairs and mobility aids are carried free of charge.
