Frequently asked
Which has the bigger fleet, AirAsia or Cebu Pacific?
The two figures count different things (one covers a whole airline group), so they are not a like-for-like comparison. AirAsia 111 aircraft (Wikipedia, as of 1 July 2026); Cebu Pacific 102 aircraft, a group figure (Press report, as of 30 June 2026).
Is AirAsia cheaper than Cebu Pacific?
Fares change by route, date and demand, so neither airline is always cheaper. This page compares fleets and published facts, not fares. To check prices for a trip, search both airlines for the same dates.
Which airline is older?
Both were founded in 1996.
Do AirAsia and Cebu Pacific share a hub airport?
Not in our data. AirAsia lists KUL, BKI, PEN, KCH and JHB; Cebu Pacific lists MNL, CEB, CRK, DVO and ILO.
