Sometimes business can benefit from the less fortunate. In the case of easyJet, the French air strike this year has boosted its revenue by about £5m.
Results released this week show a strong performance. easyJet added adding some £20 million ($32 million) to its pre-tax profit target and expects to profit for the year ending September to be £575-580 million when it reports final figures next month.
“Easyjet has continued to execute its strategy,” said chief executive Carolyn McCall. “This has enabled Easyjet to deliver record profits for the fourth year in a row.
Easyjet shares closed nearly 6.4% higher.
